PHOENIX DAY SUMMARY
From humble beginnings dating back to 1915, Phoenix Day has taken huge strides to be innovative and progressive in addressing the needs of early care and education, as well as supporting the comprehensive well being of the children we serve.
Phoenix Day's HealthLinks Program provides our families with much-needed case management and assistance in enrolling in AHCCCS. Through the eligibility process, HealthLinks coordinators promote the availability of a variety of health resources available for our families. In addition, HealthLinks partners with ten community agencies to provide the same health-related services to over 500 families each year.
In 2011, Phoenix Day contracted with the City of Phoenix to operate the Central Park facility and provide after-school and summer youth programs for the Central Park neighborhood.
We are proud of the work that we do here! Our commitment to families and community is ongoing and exciting! As we continue to evolve to meet the education and health needs of the Phoenix Day community, reflecting on the thousands of people who have been touched in the past by the mission of Phoenix Day is amazing! Phoenix Day has continued to thrive, thanks to the dedication and belief from the community in what we do. The thousands of people who have made donations and volunteered countless hours prove that the kindred spirit is alive and well.
